The 6th edition of the annual INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE FOR SUSTAINABLECONSTRUCTION MATERIALS, an initiative headed by (DCL) Dubai Municipality’s CentralLaboratory was held from 6-7th November 2018
This 2-day conference and workshops featured the latest innovations and trends in design and construction that will shape the future in the Gulf region and beyond.
This year`s edition presented the latest developments in the field of Artificial Intelligence applications in the Construction Sector and other emerging technologies for sustainable building materials and testing. Knauf Middle East was represented by Tertia Morgan, Technical Director, Knauf Middle East. She opened her speech with a sneak peek Knauf video about the future of production, e-transport and logistics. She continued how the fourth Industrial revolution is already underway.
The kind characterized by a fusion of technologies which is further developing the customer expectation and demanding change, to what we as an industry have become familiar with. The event brought together government decision makers, international researchers and private sector professionals in related fields.
The objective was to learn from each other and to open up new channels of dialogue between stakeholders. The conference closed on the second day with a guided tour of the delegates and dignitaries to the Sustainable City and the Dubai EXPO 2020 Site.
