Commitment to collaboration highlighted as leaders come together for Iftar.
Members of Dubai Government joined KNAUF CEO Amer Bin Ahmed to break fast on Sunday 4th June.
Hosted at the Palace Hotel in Downtown Dubai, the theme of discussion was around how we can unite to achieve the goals of Arab future cities. With participation including leaders of the private sector as well as the Government, the evening shows the continuing commitment that the construction sector shows to collaboration.
Opening the evening, KNAUF CEO Amer Bin Ahmed welcomed the guests to the occasion as well as discussing some of the latest news in Fire Safety and urged the community for closer collaboration at the initial design stage to drive the safest and most sustainable projects as we lead to EXPO 2020.
This has been a real pursuit for KNAUF's regional leader, who has already been officially recognised by multiple organisations for his drive to bring the industries together to discuss safety and sustainability. With KNAUF now working closer and closer with the authorities, the company is now driving significant testing and research into how they can continue to supply groundbreaking solutions for the community.
Saeed Al Abbar, President of the Emirates Green Building Council and Director of the successful consultancy AESG discussed the future of Arab Cities in the region, as well as discussing the importance of unity when tackling issues around the climate.
The evening further reinforces what has already been highlighted. On our journey to achieving the vision of our Arab Cities, it is imperative that we come together and knowledge share from the conception. Thankfully, the UAE seems to have a huge supply of companies and authorities which share the same belief and are turning this into reality.
